Almost Time to Celebrate...

I officially only have 5 days of school left until summer break. Yipee!!! The bad part is that I have to fit in 4 hours of observation at Cheyenne High School and do the report write up along with another assignment and a discussion question and prepare for the in-class essay final for my education class, prepare for an exam in Meteorology on tornadoes and hurricanes for Wednesday, and the ultimate accumulative exam for Calculus 2. I know this week is going to uber-stressful, but then I can relax and get back to reading all the books that I've been collecting for my summer break.

My mom's been out of the hospital and is doing fine. We got good news that the state medical board is calling the doctor that abandoned my mom in front of them to answer the allegations. They said that their investigation has warranted this action. This will happen in the coming months and I really hope that the outcome is in my mom's favor.

There has been a great scare with my grandpa. The short version of the story is that he has fallen several times and had a subdural hematoma bad enough that it has affected many aspects of his health. He is in the hospital and it was very scary there for a while, but he is doing better and is being transferred to a long-term care facility so that he can regain his strength and be able to be on his own again. He just turned 80 last week and was still working up until he went into the hospital.

Anyway, all in all things are going pretty well if I can just get through the next week or so...
